Helpful tips to SAVE MONEY IN YOUR HOME

Save Money in the Laundry Room

Save Money in the Laundry Room

Save Money in the Laundry Room

  1. Washing your clothes with 1OZ of liquid detergent in cold water saves you money.
  2. If you set your laundry machine to “high spin” it helps cut down on drying time, which will save
    money as well.
  3. If you remove your heavier clothes (Jeans, jackets, towels) from your lighter clothing in the dryer
    it helps.
  4. Use the dryer cool down cycle, if it has one, and make sure your unit is well balanced.

Save on Heating and Cooling

Save on Heating and Cooling

  1. The use of fans can lower a room’s temperature up to 7 Degrees during the cooling season.
  2. It is best to clean your filter on your cooling and heating system at least once a month for less
    restrictive airflow on your unit.
  3. You can set the AC a few degrees higher than your comfort zone and it will keep your room
cooler and more comfortable for a longer period when the ac is turned off.
  4. You can lower your thermostat on your water heater to 120 Degrees Fahrenheit, the factory
    pre-sets it to 140 Degrees.
  5. Finally, you can turn your water heater on from 5AM to 5Pm and have more than enough hot
water to last the entire day!
